Cincinnati Reds at Arizona Diamondbacks

From VipStats

Dave Williams (1-2) vs. Orlando Hernandez (2-3)

The Reds are another surprising team in the National League, as they've been beating up on their division rivals to ride high in the Central. The Diamondbacks have also been knocking around the other teams in their division, and along with the Rockies are sitting ahead of the teams expected to challenge for first place (Padres, Giants, and Dodgers).

When these two teams meet on Sunday they'll both be going with pitchers looking to turn around slow season starts. For Cincinnati it'll be Dave Williams, who is 1-2 with a 7.61 ERA in five outings. Williams started out the season with two losses and a no decision before picking up his first win versus the Washington Nationals on April 25.

Hernandez started his 2006 campaign with a win over the Rockies, but was then beaten three straight times to fall to 1-3. In his last two outings, Hernandez has a win and a no decision, but his ERA still sits at a high 6.39. His worst start came on May 2, when the former AL pitcher allowed six runs on nine hits in just 3 2-3 innings versus the Dodgers.
